V O L U N T E E R S
| Volunteers are critical to Water Station. They help install the water stations, in the spring and take them out of the desert in the fall. Throughout the hot months, they help our crew at the hard work of maintaining the stations every other week. Water Station could not continue its work without the support of a large group of volunteers. WE HAVE INSTALLED 200 WATER STATIONS |

Volunteers Needed !! "FUN UNDER THE SUN" Water Station deploys and maintains Water Stations in the Southern California Desert. Our goal is to prevent people from dying from heat and dehydration. We are a 501 C3 Non-Profit, all volunteer organization. You may have seen our characteristic blue, or orange and blue, flags along highway 98 or in other parts of the desert. Our main goal is to reduce the heat deaths of any persons crossing the desert areas in the hot Summer months. 2008 is our 9th year of work and we currently have 200 water stations installed and being serviced every other week. Water Station Maintenance. From now through October we will maintain the supply of water in
each station so that any person reaching a Water Station can get water. Our schedules are very flexible with some volunteers performing their runs during different days of the week. For more information please call: Frances Beope (760) 482 0581 in El Centro,
